Baymont by Wyndham St. Ignace Lakefront

Rooms were clean, view was gorgeous, staff was friendly. Breakfast was what you’d expect but a few more options than some places.

Hotel was clean but definitely had some cobwebs to be cleaned. No elevator so if you have mobility issues ask for the first floor. Hotel has a lot of stairs because of the layout of the hotel connected to each building or floor. Breakfast each morning was wonderful. Lots of geese poop on the lakeside. If you get rooms 301-304 with a balcony, the balcony’s are small. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Jose Cantina restaurant is right next door, very good food.

Our room was clean, but very old hotel. No elevator, and the tv didn’t work. Air conditioner was very loud. The location however, was great. Sheplers ferry also picks up at the hotel so saves some parking money.

We spent three nights at this inn and were very pleased. It is an older facility but our room was clean and well prepared for us. There was a beautiful view of the lake and a deck for us to go out to sit and enjoy the view. There were areas for bonfires and many lounging chairs along the beach. Breakfast was excellent and the eggs and meat were different each morning. If you are looking for high-stakes, and ultra modern, this is not your place. If you are looking to get your money's worth, this is perfect! It was away from, but not too far from, downtown. Restaurants were close by and the ferry was within about 1/2 mile. Dave, in maintenance, and Rebecca, the mgr. were awesome!

Decent place to stay. Room was huge but the bathroom needed some work and the floor was dirty. Beds were good and the place was quiet. Breakfast was great. We didn't have time to use any of the amenities but if it was warmer and we had more time it looks like it would have been fun to hang out and play yard game, swim in the lake and have a bonfire. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Would recommend!

Great hotel. Very clean. The space is a bit older - needs new paint, but it's incredibly clean and comfortable. They are a pet friendly hotel, though walls were thin and you can hear everything - so if your animal is reactive, have a plan. I am spoiled at home with a ridiculously comfortable bed, so I found the mattress a bit hard for my liking, and needed a few extra pillows, but my husband thought it was comfortable enough and had great sleep. Breakfast buffet was decent, had eggs, sausage, bagels, yogurt, cereal, juices, coffee, tea, and waffles. The beach is right outside the hotel and there are lovely spaces to sit and enjoy the view. Staff was super accommodating and helpful, our room was spotless when we returned from the ferry to Mackinac.

Nice place for overnight stay, breakfast could be better and I sure wish people would clean up after their pets. Had to dodge that stuff everywhere around back at shoreline

The hotel was clean and comfortable. The balcony was great for coffee in the morning. The location was great. There is a great restaurant in the same parking lot that was fantastic. Close to the docks. We really enjoyed the wood fire on the beach.
